Only one hour per day is counted toward the testing requirements.
- The test requirements at all levels are at the discretion
of the examining instructor; additional techniques are commonly
requested on higher-level tests.
- Where the test requirements indicate that a technique is to be
performed two or more ways, omote and ura of the same form count
as one way.
- Tests for 6th through 3rd kyu are
administered at the dojo as part of regular classes. Tests for
2nd kyu and higher are administered at seminars and
regional testing sessions several times a year, at Aikido Center
of Atlanta and elsewhere.
